Learn What Pet Boarding Facilities Offer Dogs & Cats.
There may be times when you have to go away and can’t take your fur baby with you. Perhaps a holiday, away for work or an extended time in hospital. Whatever the reason you may need to have your pet looked after for more than just a day.
Fortunately, there are places all over Australia, that are well set up to care for your dog or cat for extended periods of time.
Pet boarding facilities have come a long way from the days of cages, with suites now available to cater to the most discerning of pet’s, a true home away from home. Your dog or cat will be given love with one-on-one pats and hugs, looked after with exercise areas, lovely treats and healthy food. Most centres cater from a daycation to weeks of vacation. There’s a range of different sized suites for both cats and dogs, complete with fresh bedding changed daily.
Generally, pets staying for more than 5 days receive a hydro bath and you can supply your own food and treats, accompanied with daily instructions, plus any favourite toys to assist with possible separation anxiety.
From our extensive research, we have found many centres offer similar package options, which we have outlined below as an example guide only. You’ll need to browse through the many local pet boarding facilities near you on Pet Directory if you’re thinking you may be away from home and need your pet to be well taken care of.
